Nutrition Education
Nutrition Education
Food usually is NOT the reason patients develop eating disorders, however certain behaviors around food can be used to develop a sense of control or comfort in someone’s life due to trauma or as ways to manage emotions. Our Nutrition Philosophy is based on a “all foods fit” approach. Our Dietitian offers education, meal plan support/guidance, and nutritiongroups.
Wellness & Mindful Movement
Wellness & Mindful Movement
The ACA Encyclopedia of Counseling refers to wellness as "a state of positive well-being...in which body, mind and spirit are integrated”. Our mission is to focus on overall wellness. We incorporate an overall well-being approach to your healing journey that may include Restorative Yoga, Meditation, Mindfulness, Somatic Awareness, and Movement.
Family Education and Support
Family Education and Support
Eating Disorders need special care and attention from loved ones. With specialized groups designed for education and support, client's loved ones will feel empowered and encouraged.
